Water Is The Source Of Life

Why Is Water So Important?

We frequently hear that water is the best source of life for every human body. We know that water must be very important for our body, but we don’t know how essential it actually is to the human mind and body. We know that it is essential to keep hydration, it is good for good clear skin as well as good long hair but what are the details about the importance of drinking a lot of water in one day and how much water should we actually drink in a day? The reason why water is so important and why it should be consumed in much abundance in a day is due to the fact that a great majority of our body consists mainly of water. It is said that between 75 to 85 percent of the body is made up primarily of water. Given the fact that water is mainly involved with the flushing out the waste that may be of harm to the body as well as flushing out toxins that may damage the hair and skin. Drinking lots of water would also normalize and control the body temperature as sometimes we find that our body is too cold or too hot. It happens that our body may be cold or hot but when it is abnormally hot or cold then we would have the tendency of drinking water to sooth the body.  Working hard all day, Nadine Gourkow understands the importance of keeping a balanced diet

What Water Can Actually Do?

  • As you may have guessed water is the main element contained in saliva along with other components such as electrolytes, enzymes and mucus, used to break down food and prevent the mouth from being dry. Generally, your body automatically produces enough saliva to remain hydrated but as you grow with age the production may decrease therefore it is very important to replenish your system with water every day. Regardless of your age, as long as your body is not getting enough water you notice a significant decrease in your saliva production.
  • Regulating your body temperature can easily be done with water consumption as your body usually helps to keep your body cool. When there is no water remaining in your body then it is impossible for your body to produce sweat which enables your body to cool down.
  • Water is also a great lubricant when it comes to your joints tissues as well as your spinal cord. Believe it or not, but this small (seemingly) insignificant change in your diet will increase your productivity when performing physical activities. It will decrease body pain that usually occurs after working out intensely.
  • Waste is also excreted through urination and perspiration and helps prevent constipation.
  • It helps the kidney as well
  • When it comes to digestion it goes hand in hand with the saliva production as it enables production of the saliva which will help to break down the food for the stomach to then break down the food for digestion.

Healthy food junkies such as Nadine usually have a specific routine that they follow and they all may vary in terms of protein, fruits, vegetables and more but what usually remains similar is the consumption of water as that is the most important health factor when it comes to nutrient due to the composition of water in the body.
